Dominic completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in 2013. Since then he has worked in two private practises in Townsville and on the Sunshine Coast developing an in-depth knowledge of all musculoskeletal conditions and how to best manage them. In Townsville he worked with the Townsville Crocodiles and Townsville Fire national basketball teams in the clinic but also at games. He continues his work in basketball here on the Sunshine Coast with the University Rip QBL team. In addition to this he has treated athletes from V8 Motorsports, the Australian para-atheltic throwing team as well as everyday sports players.
Dominic has an interest in treating all sporting injuries, lower limb injuries, persistent pain and neck pain. He uses dry needling clinically to help his clients achieve the best results. He has completed courses to enhance his skills in the management of spinal conditions, shoulder pathologies and hip/groin injuries and has recently started a research project for his Honours Degree also at JCU.
Dominic’s treatment style is focused on manual therapy integrated with modern pain science. He uses the pain relief of manual therapy as an opportunity to allow his patients to build up their own strength, mobility and resilience so that they don’t have to rely on ongoing physiotherapy treatment.
Dominic enjoys playing basketball and spends the weekend SUPing as well as taking his dog to the beach.
